Due to COVID-19 and the guidelines set out by the Government, I will be limiting the contact I have with guests – but I want to reassure you that you’re still very welcome at The Lonnen.
I would normally welcome you personally, but I will now operate a self-check in system.
Breakfast was always served in our rooms, but I will now leave the tray outside your door and just knock to let you know it’s there.
I have removed items that I’m not able to clean between guests; like leaflets, books, cushions and throws. The room looks a little different, but I hope you will still find it comfortable.
I am providing a hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes for you to use as needed too.
I have increased cleaning to make it safer for all of us. I will be cleaning regularly throughout the day, especially frequently touched areas like door handles, light switches and our outside seating area.
If you begin to feel unwell while you’re staying here, the nearest pharmacy is in Rothbury. I would ask that you inform me immediately so we can decide the best next steps together, to ensure no onward risk of infection. If you feel unwell, please do not travel to The Lonnen.
All of these measures are to keep you and my own family safe; I hope you understand. I want you to feel reassured that we are taking this seriously so you can relax and enjoy your time here.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Lonnen.
